If you have received a ticket/citation within the city limits of Ringgold you may pay it on or before the court date listed on the ticket/citation or appear in court on the court date listed. If you fail to pay your fine or appear in court, your citation will be forwarded to the State of Georgia for suspension of your driver’s license and/or a bench warrant will be issued for Failure to Appear. Some tickets/citations are for a mandatory appearance violations and require you to appear in court. Call City Hall to find out the amount of the fine for your ticket/citation.
- Failure to appear for the scheduled court date will assess a contempt charge of $30.00 and suspension of your driving privileges and possibly a warrant being issued for your arrest.
- Georgia Probation Services does not have an office within the clerk's office. They are here on court days only. You can contact them at (706) 935-2960 for any probation information.

"SUPER SPEEDER" LAW - O.C.G.A. 40-6-189, EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2010
Classification as a super speeder; fees; funding for trauma care system. In addition to any other fines or penalties imposed by any local jurisdiction or the Department of Driver Services, the DDS shall administer and collect a fee of $200.00 from any driver who is convicted of driving at a speed of 85 miles per hour or more on any road or highway or 75 miles per hour or more on any two-lane road or highway as defined in Code Section 40-6-187. Such a driver, upon conviction, shall be classified as a "super speeder".

All tickets/citations issued to persons age 16 or younger will be forwarded to the Catoosa County Juvenile Court.
